Lower Columbia Basin Lutherans, otherwise known as Cluster "G" in the Eastern Washington and Idaho (EWAID) Synod, consist of the following ELCA congregations:

Lord of Life Lutheran, and First Lutheran Church, in Kennewick,

Lutheran Church of the Master, and First Lutheran Church, in Pasco, 

Christ Lutheran Church in  Walla Walla,

Gideon Lutheran Church in Connell, 

Pilgrim Lutheran Church  Othello, WA.

This is an adventurous new way for us to connect with each other, instead of having a website. This way we can submit articles, photos, ideas and remind each other of meetings, without one person managing the communication.  Some of our synod Mission Support funds go toward supporting this Region 1 wide tool  for social networking so we may as well use it!

Some members from the congregations in the Tri-Cities (Kennewick, Pasco and Richland) within our cluster have formed a Lay and Clergy group called the Area Mission Strategy Team. They have been meeting monthly for 7 years to discern new ways to do ministry together. We have been discerning ways to reach out into the community and have decided to join God in the neighborhood of West Richland. We are looking for a Mission Developer who is community minded and loves to build relationships with people and talk about the love of God for all.

West Richland "mission"

I'm really looking forward to this afternoon's installation service.   It's exciting to welcome Pr. Kimmy Meinecke as mission developer in West Richland.    She has already been building relationships with people in the "Love of God Community" and throughout our cluster.   Rejoice in God!!!
